You might know that London is an amazing city, but did you know that it has a lot of cool things to see and do? Now, I'm not talking about the tourist attractions like Buckingham Palace or Big Ben. These are all great places to visit if you're in town for a few days as a visitor. But what about when you live here? When you wake up every day and go to work? What do locals do in their spare time? Well, luckily for you we've compiled this list of ten must-do's for anyone who lives or visits London!

 

Skateboard under the London Eye: If you're into skateboarding and happen to be in Hyde Park, make sure not to miss this opportunity. You can only do it on a nice day (or if you have your own board) but there are boards that rent out for £15 per hour which is really reasonable! And with an awesome view of the city as well, what's not to love?

Picnic at Speaker's Corner: This one might seem like something reserved for tourists - after all most locals don't know much about Speakers' Corner... But when was the last time you had a picnic?! It might just take some organisation skills or good weather planning but it will definitely be worth it. Grab some food maybe a bottle of wine and enjoy the views.

Live Music at KOKO: This might seem obvious but there are plenty of people who don't know that live music shows happen every night (except Mondays) at The O² Academy in Camden or even sometimes on Saturdays as well. If you really want to be immersed in London culture, then head here for an evening out with friends and experience something new!

Visit Greenwich Observatory: One of the oldest buildings in London the Greenwich observatory is a great place to visit. Not only is it beautiful but there are also some great exhibits detailing the history of astronomy.

Explore The British Library: I'm not sure about you guys, but when I think London my first thought is usually "the British Library" and in all honesty, I might be slightly biased because this place was where Harry Potter was written! But seriously though its a neat place to visit.
